Attractions and SIGHTS In & Around Bibury, Gloucestershire
Many visitors come to Bibury and The Cotswolds to enjoy the stunning scenery and luscious landscapes on foot, by car or perhaps on bikes. The villages such as Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water all lie within a stone's throw of beautiful Bibury in the heart of The Cotswolds.
In Bibury itself, there is of course the world renowned Arlington Row and its 14th Century "Weaver's cottages" which nestle by the river and the National Trust protected Rack Isle and all its rich wildlife. The Bibury Trout Farm understandably remains a firm favourite with visitors with its exquisite gift shop, seasonal cafe offering delicious cakes and snacks and of course, the fishing with barbecue facilities

For the gastro-minded guests you will be spoiled for choice, with Bibury offering an excellent restaurant at The Swan Hotel, or slightly further away Barnsley House and The Village Pub. If it is a more of a home cooked meal that you are looking for then The Catherine Wheel pub in Bibury is an excellent choice. The surrounding villages have a tremendous selection of country Inns to suit all tastes.
Special Dates and Times
There are always special events taking place throughout the year but some of the highlights include the world renowned Bibury Fun Day in late July and the Bibury Duck Race on Boxing Day. The other well known annual events such as the Cheltenham Races and the Royal Air Tattoo also take place nearby. You can also enjoy a day out at the Cirencester Polo Club every Sunday during the summer months.

The Cotswolds also offer fantastic fun days for the family with Adam Hensons Farm, The Cotswold Wildlife Park, open air swimming pool in Cirencester and The Cotswold Water Park.
